Karen Nakhle is a tutor and the co-founder of StudyLab, an online tutoring center based in Lebanon. 

How did you get into tutoring?

I didn’t initially have any specific plans to teach, but I was once asked to help out a friend’s kid, and that was the beginning of my journey!

What do you do after you’ve finished tutoring for the day? 

I go out with some friends or go back home and chill. 

What is your teaching style? 

Throughout my career, I have developed my own method which allows students to discover their capabilities on their own, whilst still guiding them through and helping them work out the proper way to think and process information.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

What I love most is the feeling of being able to help someone become the best version of themselves, whatever the work in progress. I appreciate seeing the satisfaction on my students’ faces when they realize they are capable of doing the work on their own.

Why did you choose oktopi?

It is literally the easiest way to get into international teaching and I have always been a big fan of that. The world gets smaller!
